Boost to Sudharshan setu

The 'Sudarshan Setu' in Gujarat, which were connecting Okha and Beyt Dwarka island, has been constructed at the cost of Rs 979 crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of the 2.3 km-long bridge in October 2017, saying that it will serve as a link between old and new Dwarka.

Sudharshan Setu has "The four-lane 27.20 metre and a wide bridge has 2.50 metre wide footpaths on each side," an official release said. Sudarshan Setu boasts a unique design, featuring a footpath adorned with verses from our Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna on both sides.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated 'Sudarshan Setu', the country's longest cable-stayed bridge in Gujarat, which is expected to boost connectivity and tourism in Gujarat. This is a "stunning project", Prime Minister Modi stated that the inauguration was a "special day for Gujarat’s growth trajectory".

Prime Minister Modi also said that "In 2014, when you all blessed me and sent to Delhi, I promised that I will save the country from being looted. I have put a full stop to all the scams that used to take place during the Congress rule and now India is the 5th largest economy in the world. The result of this is the construction marvels that you can see in India now."
